What will happen to the former Favorit cinema, the place where, in the old days, the best movies appeared? The “Initiativa Favorit” group gave us several ideas last night about how the Favorit could be reborn: a corner for seniors, a library workshop, a playground, a treasure hunt.

The children were excited and, together with their parents, looked for the hidden treasures around the cinema. The parents and grandparents signed a petition to the local authorities in order to support the revitalization of the cinema. On a white canvas, all those present left their ideas, suggestions and opinions. Come with small and large, the residents of the area carefully researched each place and, together, rediscovered who the Favorite is.

Courageous people full of civic spirit, “Initiativa Favorit” , together with Aurel Borcescu, community organizer of CeRe, made this event possible.
