CeRe edited the study "Public Participation in the Parliaments of European Countries";

it succeeded in introducing the modification proposals on the agenda of the Regulation Commissions from the Chamber of Deputies and the Senate. The proposals were discussed in the commissions and some of them were voted with unanimity;

the roundtable „Is Public Consultation a Necessity?" was organized in the Romanian Parliament. The purpose of this roundtable was to gather deputies, senators, parliamentary and governmental experts, members of the Economic and Social Council and of NGOs and discuss together this topic. 30 participants answered CeRe's invitation;

72 nongovernmental organisations signed a petition;

11 nongovernmental organisations signed and "monitored" together a Protest addressed to the Senate. Following the protest, the Senate answered in an official manner to the protesters' requests;

between 24 and 26 April 2007 CeRe and its partners organized the exhibition "See What You're Missing Out On!", an exhibition of materials (studies, analysis, photographs, posters, etc.) aimed at proving the nongovernmental sector's expertise that should be used in the law making process and that is lost in the absence of public consultation mechanisms. The exhibition was located in front of the plenary room of the Chamber of Deputies where usually the common sessions of the two chambers of the Parliament are held.
