English description

“Transparency for Community Interest. Program to increase the level of accountability and transparency of public institutions from Timis county” – this is the project implemented by the Timisoara Euroregional Center for Democracy in order to assess the level of information of citizens, NGO representatives and public institutions with regard to enforcing the following laws: Law 350 on non-refundable financing from the local budget for nonprofit activities of local interest, Law 52/2003 on transparency in the decision making process in public administration and Law 544/2001 on free access to information of public interest. Upon assessing the level of information, a strategy was elaborated to provide information on the rights and obligations given by these laws.
