The coalition for Good Governing and Partnership with the Associative Environment demands the party leaders to include in their governing programs 10 measures for a civic, durable and solidary Romania.
The NGOs expect the answer until November 14th
In the letter's text it is mentioned that the state of the Romanian society and the impact of the economic crisis oblige for a responsible approach of the governmental priorities, generally, and of the future government, especially. "The organizations show concern towards the "possible effects of the crisis, of the potential political, economical and social risks" and demand the political parties to accept the "proposal for non-partisan partnership, doubled by periodical consultation regarding the elaboration of coherent policies'" proposed by the members of the Coalition.
Next, the letter speaks about the "nongovernmental sector from Romania shows, like the entire society, the need of coherent public policies to assure the consolidation of the constitutional state and of the civil society in a difficult time"
Today, in the NGO sector over 70000 persons work annually, registered in official acts, and the annual incomes budget is over 800 millions EURO, mostly from programs financed by the European Union. The biggest part of the NGOs' activity consists of public interest and furnishes services complementary with those offered by the state.
