In Search of Little Paris


What the project aims at


The aim of this project is to bring to the public attention the degrading state of the architectural and urban heritage of Bucharest and to get the citizens of Bucharest actively involved in finding solutions to harness the potential of this heritage.


Objectives


 Raising the awareness of the citizens of Bucharest about problems concerning cultural heritage;
 Participatory planning for harnessing the potential of heritage sites;
 Promoting these plans to the competent authorities.

Partners

"Save Bucharest" Association, "Bucharest - pro urbe" Association

Activities


 training the CeRe team and their partners in city planning matters;
 organizing an urban exploration competition, to be attended by at least 40 people;
 debating problems pointed out by the citizens enrolled in this competition and finding solutions to these problems;
 organizing an exhibition with the photographs taken for this competition;
 launching a letter to support the plans for harnessing cultural heritage.
