35 Roma teenagers from Malul Vanat village have told their story through pictures! Their problems and their hopes can be seen now! If you wish to see them, to understand their message, you are invited to Deja Fu bar, Ferdinand AV nr. 53-55, Bucharest; the exhibition will be opened for two weeks, starting with the 11th of March 2010.
There will be presented photos and stories of the rudar community from Malul Vanat, Arges, as the result of using the PhotoVoice method. The exhibition is for those who are part of vulnerable social categories and who haven’t expressed publicly through classic methods. This exhibition gives them the possibility to express through pictures and through their own words their problems, their hopes and the solution identified.
For six months, the teenagers from Malul Vanat have learned to express themselves through this method, to communicate and to ask their right for a better life through pictures.
Their stories, their messages and their hopes are illustrated and are waiting for you until the 31st of March in Deja Fu bar!
